Dana Hills High’s SOCSA Presents Les Miserables (multiple dates)

April 10 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The highly sought-after musical theater adaptation of Les Misérables is being showcased in Dana Point beginning next month. The South Orange County School of the Arts (SOCSA) at Dana Hills High School has been practicing for months and will be putting on the show at the Porthole Theatre, starting on April 10 and running through April 20.

“We weren’t initially supposed to be doing Les Misérables; we planned on doing Little Shop of Horrors,” said Evelin Chavez, the student Publicity and Marketing Head for SOCSA. “But Les Misérables is such a huge musical. When we got the rights for it at the end of last year, super unexpectedly, since it’s rare to get the rights, it surprised us. We just decided to do it, because we felt that it was just the right time.”

The production will open on April 10 and will have follow-up showings on April 11, 12, 18, and 19, all starting at 7 p.m. The two last showings will be on April 20, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. If you want to learn more about the production, SOCSA has an Instagram page (@socsamusicals) and a TikTok Page (@dhhssocsa) providing additional information directly from the participating students.

For advanced $15 tickets, visit link below or tickets can be purchased for $20 at the door.
