Dana Point Chamber of Commerce, presents the 47th Dana Point Turkey Trot is the nation’s 6th largest turkey trot. Named one of America’s best Thanksgiving Day runs by Fitness Magazine, the Dana Point Turkey Trot has become an Orange County tradition, attracting more than 10,000 participants, spectators, volunteers and sponsors to its 5K, 10K, Kids’ Gobble Wobble, and two-day health and fitness expo.

Celebrating 47 years, the Dana Point Turkey Trot is the premier trot in Southern California and is the perfect place to bring your family to run the race before you stuff your face. The Dana Point Turkey Trot is a USA Track & Field (USATF) sanctioned and certified event.

Tour the beautiful beach, majestic cliffs and coves of Dana Point. Enjoy pounding surf, rugged cliffs, and cool ocean breezes as you sail through the Dana Point Marina and Doheny State Beach. From beginners to elite runners, this event is for everyone!

Since its inception, the Dana Point Turkey Trot has donated over half a million dollars to nonprofit organizations. A portion of proceeds will be donated to this year’s nonprofit partners: Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley and Music Preserves Foundation.
