Santa and his elves will be arriving at Pines Park on his Jolly Trolley to hand out pre-packaged treats for children up to 12 years of age. Getting into the holiday spirit, the City of Dana Point will host its annual tree lightings at Pines Park on Monday, Dec. 2nd. At the tree lighting, Santa’s Jolly Trolley and elves from the city’s Recreation Division will stop by the parks ahead of the ceremony to spread cheer, offer a photo opportunity, hear what local kids would like for Christmas. Pre-packaged gifts will also be distributed to children 12-and-under.

The event is from 4:30-5:30pm and features carolers, hot chocolate, cookies, and the tree lighting at 5:15pm.
