The Dana Point Chamber of Commerce’s Loyal to Local Holiday Shopping Campaign features our unique local businesses and encourages shoppers to think local all holiday season long. Visiting local businesses keeps more money in the local economy, strengthens local jobs, and helps the environment while also shaping the character and personality of the community. In the spirit of supporting local businesses.

Dana Point Harbor will also participate in Small Business Saturday on November 30, 2024. Visitors are encouraged to explore the Harbor Wharf and Village, home to a diverse selection of boutiques offering unique gifts such as custom art, upscale clothing, vintage finds, and pet-friendly items.

The Shop Small movement was inspired by the widespread participation in Small Business Saturday®, a day founded by American Express in 2010 on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Now a national holiday, Small Business Saturday is dedicated to celebrating small businesses by helping to drive more customers through the doors of retail stores, restaurants, fitness studios, salons — and everything in between.
